Saigel's first day of K4 was yesterday. She's doing 3 half days this year. She calls her teacher Mrs. D, and really likes her. Her favorite part of the day was P.E.
We went to the Zoo the last time we were in MO. This was the best day we've had at the Zoo yet. Saigel is finally getting old enough to really enjoy all the exhibits. Sennett went with us this day too, but he was very unimpressed with the whole thing (slept the whole day). :)
Sennett Jace Mickan was born June 30th. He was 6 lbs. 12 oz. He is a very good baby and already sleeping over 6 hours at a time at night. He is growing like a weed, and already close to 10 lbs.
Doug's parents came down this weekend, and we had an early Independence Day Celebration complete with playing in the sprinkler during the day, and sparkler's at night.
We are scheduled to get induced on June 30th. Here is my favorite belly photo, and some pics from the baby shower that my great friends from Oasis threw for me. Thanks so much girls for all you did to make that day special.
Saigel was invited to her friend, Emily's, birthday party last weekend. It had a Princess theme. As you can imagine, she had a wonderful time getting all dressed up and made up. After everyone got beatified, all the girls got to walk the runway. They were all adorable.
We had a great time this year at Vacation Bible School. Saigel was in the Preschool crew #1. Thanks to Amy Fly, I had a very relaxing week while she did all the prep before, during, and after VBS. We had over 50 volunteers, and over 80 students involved this year. There were 5 decisions for Christ by the end of the week. Super Fun!! ~cindy
We have had an amazing amount of snow this year in Arkansas!
Saigel has been loving it.
The First snow was not too much, but enough to make snow angels,
which is Saigel's favorite thing to do in the snow.
Our second snow was a little more substantial.
Judging by the pictures below, Daddy is in trouble:)
Saigel's favorite part of the day was having us make snow balls and put them in her play house....for her to then throw at us.
The snow we got today was one of the biggest we have seen since living in Arkansas. We ended up with around 6 inches, and it was great snow to make a snowman!!! This was Saigel's first snow man ever, so she was quite excited.
Rolling the bottom part of the snowman
Placing the snowman's heart
Saigel decided to name the snowman "Ice Cream Smice Cream".
Not sure if that spelling is right:) What a fun day!
Christmas morning was very exciting. Saigel must have been a really good girl this year! Santa left a small gift under her special purple & pink tree. It was a snow globe with Santa inside. She was very excited! She then went into the living room where the big tree was, and found the Zhu Zhu pet that she had asked Santa for. Santa also filled her stocking with some neat stuff, and of course her mommy and daddy contributed to the large pile of gifts as well.
"Look, Santa ate the cookies & drank the milk! And the reindeer ate the carrot! Later in the day we exchanged gifts with the rest of our family. Pawpe read the Christmas story, and we had lots of fun.
We hope to keep all of you informed of what's going on in our world. That means there will be a lot of pictures and posts about Saigel and Sennett, but hopefully you won't mind. Add us to your favorites and check back often to stay informed on what we are up to!!
